Maintaining composure through these strenuous times, eminent Austrian bass music label Sub Audio Records unveils the first stage of this year's hefty release schedule. Reaching out to UK's lauded Dubstep melting pot, the imprint welcomes none other than Londoner badman Arkham Sound to the family - going to town with two murderous originals. The two-faced release is topped off with a militant remix by the label boss Gnischrew itself, certified sound system fuel altogether. Formerly known as Nights, the acclaimed artist and producer made a name for himself through his NSX label venture and sporting releases on famed outlets, such as Sentry Records, Duploc and Rarefied.

Leaning into the swelteringly super-charged A-side, 'Mercy' lays down the law with a blistering display of meticulous sound design, Arkham Sound in full force. Distortion 'a plenty, off-kilter and sinister, stripped-down instrumentation in full swing. 'If Only You Knew' in turn ventures off into meditative spheres, rolling basslines and wistful arpeggios guiding the way on this beautiful as complimentary journey. Granular sample fragments reverberating into the echo chamber - haunting through and through. Taking care of (version) business, Gnischrew turns 'Mercy' upside down and serves its deconstructed elements in a heavyweight signature style."
